个人认为广东世界图书出版公司2004年出版的 英语口语高手 是此类书中最经典的,我用的就是这本书,整本书的布局非常合理,很适合初学者,尤其是开篇的一些英文绕口令很是不错,我建议大家真是要下决心好好学口语的话,以我个人而言,就用这本书,而且一定要坚持到底,这是最主要的,很多人包括我自己有时也是,坚持不下来,因此,能够把这本书从头到尾好好的精细学习下来,那么口语肯定会突飞猛进的.
另外有些洋人写的比如 美国人每天说的话 1 ,2,3册也很经典,这套书对于美国俚语感兴趣的同志很有用,就我个人观点,美国俚语要想全部弄懂,是绝对不可能的,即使像我这样在美国待了三年的,那帮黑人的俚语仍然是很难听懂,而这套书的优点就在于,其中所选用的俚语都是美国社会最常用的,在一般的工作和生活当中绝对用得到,因此在这方面来说,这套书还是可以的.
再就是推荐东方友人的那一套“洋话连篇”也很是有名 ,最早接触这套书时,吸引我的是该书的行文方式和风格,在当时算是很新颖的了,而且书中的内容还算道地,当然这套书出了好多系列,其中质量有好有坏,基本上个人认为,前期的很好,后面新出的就有些太追求商业化,华而不实了.
2007年我认为在大陆最好的美国口语方面的书就是清华大学出版社出版的 袖珍常用美语短语词典,袖珍美国习语词典以及袖珍英语动词短语词典这套书了,三本书很小巧,这是最大优点,易于携带,在旅行时飞机上就可以阅读学习,每本书定价都不超过十元人民币,是美国Mc Graw Hill 的同名书的影印本,我在米国时就见过原版,现在国内也有了,很是欣慰,这套书的内容地道性毋庸质疑,内容是以字典条目形势展开的,由此带来的弊端就是要求英文有一定的基础,当然也不是很高的要求,另外的弊端就是美书中的条目不是每个条目都是最常用的,据我个人经验,有些条目在美国西部农村很常用,但是在大城市用的话,老外也能听懂,就是人家会觉得别扭,因此地道与不地道都是相对的,这还要大家在实际语言环境中甄别.
最后我要补充的是,现在国内的口语类图书我见得很多,大多数很就是很普通的分场景分类对话,跟不吸引不了读者,以上给大家推荐的几本书,希望对大家有所帮助,应该会让大家眼前一亮,这对于大多数没有英语母语环境的想提高英语口语的国人来说,是不错的选择.当然,书只是学习口语中最基本的一部分,我个人的经验是,提高口语的最简洁的途径就是要有英语环境,我在美国的三年里,自认为提高的相当的多,收获和见识也相当的大,以至于现在汉语写的都不太通顺了,这点还请大家多多见谅.
