At present， Internet Slang， such as “GG， MM， Xia Mi”， has become popular among the teenagers.
There are different opinions on Internet Slang. Some students think Internet Slang is vivid， fashionable and full of humor and intelligence. Besides， it makes chatting on the Internet quicker.
However， some other students think Internet Slang lacks depth of thought and is too simple. Also， it is hard to understand and not accepted by most people. The words sometimes might make people confused， even resulting in misunderstanding.
Every coin has two sides. In my opinion， living in the Information Age， if we don’t know the Internet Slang， we seem to fall behind the times. It will be OK as long as these terms are used correctly in proper situations.

1计算机对写作交流的影响
计算机也会给写作带来负面影响。如果过分依赖电脑的拼写检查功能，可能会出现有些单词输错了，但是由于在字典中有这个单词，电脑就没有指出错误，输入者也没有仔细审核去发现错误，导致用错了词甚至引起歧义。而有时单词是对的，不过由于电脑本身所用的字典容量较小，没有包括该词，从而被指出是错的，引起输入者的疑惑。另外，对于输入错误的单词，单击右键，电脑会提供正确选项的参考，如不仔细鉴别，可能会选错单词。例如，本来打算输入“corporate”，结果输成“cooprate”，电脑给出的第一个建议是“cooperate”，如果本来就不熟悉到底怎么拼，就盲目相信电脑，就会犯错。对于句法的错误，电脑只能指出一些简单的，如“Heandsheareagoodfriend.”；但对于“Heandsheisagoodfriend.”，却无能为力。此外，电脑上修改难以保存所有的修改记录。如果经过推敲，发现新的用法并不妥，就很难再找到以前的句子，因为很少有人会保存以前的版本用于今后的修改。即便有人保存，对比两个版本也不如纸质的资料方便。因此，虽然计算机能使写作变得方便，但并不能根本提高写作的质量。电脑无法修改所有的错误，更无法帮助修改内容。有学者（Gould）的研究表明，电脑和纸笔这两种不同写作方式，并不能对写作的文章质量产生显著影响。即便如此，电脑作为一种较为新型的写作方式，使用的频率越来越高。而学生普遍偏爱这种写作方式，能否利用学生对此的喜爱，充分发挥其有利一面，为写作教学助一臂之力？
2计算机对高职写作教学的影响
目前，高职学生的英语基础普遍较弱，而不少学校的大学英语课时在缩减，总学时普遍只有150左右，英语写作更是成为鸡肋，很少涉及，学生缺乏用英语进行书面交流的能力。如果能利用学生喜欢用电脑的习惯，引导其用电脑尝试英语交流，无疑会对高职英语写作教学带来有益的影响。这也符合国家教育部教育司提出的指导意见：“各高等院校应充分利用多媒体和网络技术，采用新的以网络技术为支撑的教学模式，使英语教学不受时间和地点限制，朝个性化、自主式学习方向发展。”如果高职老师布置学生进行英文写作练习，批改时主要偏重学生的语法，较少注重关注其篇章结构和构思。而学生也仅仅认为这是为完成写作任务，读者只有老师一人，没有体会到任何用英语进行书面交流的乐趣，敷衍了事。本人认为如果引导学生充分利用计算机进行英文写作，会提高学生的写作兴趣和英语的交流运用能力。教师可以先整合网上的英语学习资源，提供一些有用的英语写作网站、论坛或英文交友中心等资源，向学生介绍英语写作素材、方法和技巧等信息，引导学生自主学习和掌握必要的写作知识。课堂上，开始写作前，老师提供网络资源供学生阅读，精选范文或让学生提供网上的范文共同分析，了解和赏析其精华。同时，就将要进行的写作，师生可共同探讨写作思路，用“头脑风暴”的方式激发写作热情。学生通过电脑完成的习作，可以放到公共邮箱中，鼓励学生互批并且发表评论。教师精选其中典型的文章，做详细的批阅。还可以利用课堂时间，用电脑显示范文，通过小组讨论等方式共同赏析，了解该篇文章的成功之处与存在的问题，共同提高写作水平。此外，教师可以引导学生通过上英文交友网站或聊天网站，鼓励学生积极进行其他的英语交流，作为对正式写作的有益补充。笔者曾尝试在学生中用计算机进行写作教学。
通过和学生交流以及分析学生所写的文章，发现此种方法较受学生欢迎。学生写作积极性明显提高，交流的意愿强烈。由于要和其他学生分享文章，很多学生不甘落后，四处搜索有用的资料，文章的广度和深度明显提高。对于不熟悉计算机操作的学生来说，还提高了其计算机技能。不过，也发现少数学生投机取巧，直接从网上剽窃别人的文章。对于计算机辅助大学英语写作教学来说，才刚刚起步。如何能进一步发挥计算机写作交流的长处，避免其负面作用，还需进一步探讨。
