有很多学生申请签证, 为了证明自己回国的工作情况,请所在单位或是找一家公司开出将来雇用证明。一般是这样写：
兹证明某学生完成学业后由我公司聘任，承诺给予优厚待遇和升职等。甚至拟定月薪和职位。
有的学生跟公司有协议，由公司支付在美国学习的费用或给予补贴，毕业后回公司工作，由家庭承诺担保，如果违约由其家全额偿付公司付出的费用，并附加违约金。
究竟这样的工作证明在签证面试中起什么作用？
先说第一种情况：学生一般处于知识和经验积累阶段，并不是什么专家和特殊人才，公司为什么承诺你学成之后一定要您？现在的人才是不难找的，学生回国还要几年时间，双方变化都会很大。这个证明，对学生不会有大影响，学生就是滞留在美国，公司不可能去追回来，而如果有一天学生想到这家公司，就可以据此提出要求。所以说，公司从自身的角度出发，一般不会签发这样的承诺，尤其是外企，至多是写一封推荐信。所以说，这类的证明没有什么意义，也不可信。
第二种方式，是带有旧体制的思想烙印。以前的单位或公司对职工负有无限，什么也统包。现在是市场经济，如果学生不是唯一的人才，企业为什么要花几年的时间、几年的费用，去培养一位还不确定能否回原公司的人员呢？
长沙有一位学生申请签证，出示了这样类似的材料。签证官不解地问：你为什么给我看这些东西？表示不相信。所以，最好还是不要出示这类证明，不合情理。

商务签证：主要指有关人员因公务或个人原因去加拿大从事投资、贸易、会议、展览、劳务等方面事务所进行的实地考察或洽谈。
