Better think twice before choosing a password for e-mail, online bank or shopping. Simple passwords are easy to be stolen.
A password is like a key to your home. If someone steals it, he’ll get chances to steal something else. We use passwords everywhere in our life. We are so used to passwords that we don’t pay any attention to them until we lose or forget one.
A study of 28,000 passwords recently stolen from a popular website showed that people often do the easy thing. It found that 16 percent took a first name as a password. Another 14 percent used the easiest keyboard combinations such as “12345678” or QWERTY. Five percent of the stolen passwords were names of television shows or stars popular with young people. Three percent of the passwords expressed feelings like “I don’t care,” “Whatever,” “Iloveyou,” or their opposite, “Ihateyou.”
Robert Graham, who did the study, advises people to choose a password that is longer than eight characters with one capital letter(大写字母) and one symbol.
Of course, safe passwords don’t mean those hard to remember. Forgetting your password is sometimes a big headache for you. Maybe, the perfect password is easy for you and hard for others.
  48. The underlined word “password” in Paragraph 1 means __________.

Everything is Ready Except the East Wind
China has been divided into three kingdoms historically: Wei in the north, Shu in the southwest and Wu in the southeast.
Once Cao Cao from Wei led a 200,000 strong army down to the south to wipe out the kingdoms of Wu and Shu. Therefore, Wu and Shu united to defend his attack. Cao ordered his men to link up the boats by iron chains to form a bridge for the Cao"s passing from the north bank of Yangtze River to the south bank. The General Commander of the allied army was Zhou Yu. He analyzed the situation carefully. Then he got a good idea. He decided to attack the enemy with fire. So he began to prepare for the coming battle. Suddenly he thought of the direction of wind. He needed the east wind to blow strongly in order to accomplish his scheme. However, the wind did not come for days. Thus Zhou Yu was worried about it. At that time, he got a note from Zhuge Liang, the military adviser of the State of Shu, which reads:
  "To fight Cao Cao
  Fire will help you win
  Everything is ready
  Except the east wind"
Quickly he turned to Zhuge Liang for help. Zhuge told him not to worry and there would be an east wind in a couple of days. Two days later, the east wind helped Zhou accomplish his scheme. At last, the allied army won the war.
Later, people use it to say "All is ready except what is crucial".
To have an image of bamboo in one"s mind
Wang Xi-zhi is one of the most famous calligraphers during the Eastern Jin Dynasty of China. When he was very young, he practiced his art every day and never stopped.
Later he absorbed the strong points of all the other schools of calligraphy, and developed his own unique style of writing. Because of his achievements, he has been honored as one of China"s sages of calligraphy. One time, Wang Xi-zhi sketched in wood for an engraver to cut. Then the engraver found the ink had penetrated one centimeter into the wood.
"Ru Mu San Fen" is got from this story, which means the calligraphy is penetrating.
Now it is often used to describe expressing sharp ideas or profound views.
A Little Bit More
Today is an excellent day for small improvements. Whatever is working for you, find a way to improve it just a little. There’s no need to make a huge change, just a small one, something you can do right now.
If you called just one additional customer each day, over the course of the next month you would talk to about 20 new people. If you learned just one more new word each day, in the next year you would increase your vocabulary by more than 300 words.
Small improvements can add up over time into big accomplishments. Look around you. Consider the work you do each day. Think about how you could do it just a little bit better.
In a marathon race, each step the winner takes is just a little bit longer and a little bit faster than each stride taken by the 100th place finisher. Yet over the course of the race, that small difference adds up in a big way.
Do just a little bit more today, and tomorrow too, and each day after that. Anyone can make just a small improvement, and that can make a big, big difference.

  Associations of the Lotus
  Yu Kwang-chung
Still so credulous am I, now young no more,
  So credulous of
Beauty. I wish to kneel to the lotus pond.
Now long have died the ecstasies of love.
  Ah, love and love ?
That last of toys, and first of annoys.
Now Narcissus dies thirsty in Greece:
  On Byron’s tomb
Crows are quarreling over a dead cicada.
War stops not at Hemingway’s death.
  Still men are fond
Of writing their diaries in the light of Mars.
  A fashionable cancer is Nihilism.
  When evening comes,
Many a soul takes leave of its flesh.
Yet mine divorces me not. Here it stays
  With every lotus,
Watchful over its cosmos and mystery.
And all at once very near and far is the East.
  With Buddha in you,
The lotus flowers form a divine seat.
Look! Graceful are the flowers, cool the leaves!
  You can visualize
Beauty within them, and Deity above,
And me beside, and me between, I’m the dragon-fly.
  Dust is in the wind,
And powder. They need wiping, my weeping eyes.
  我爱天上的明星;
  我也曾尝味,我也曾容忍;
  I Have a Love Affair
  Xu Zhimo
  I have a love affair?
  I love stars in the sky;
  I love their sparkle:
No such a miracle in the world.
At cold dusk in late winter,
In the morning or deep loneliness,
At sea, on the summit after storm?
There is ever one, thousands of stars!
An intimate wild flower at creek,
A joyful child in the high building,
  A traveler’s lamplight and compass: ?
  The glittering spirits beyond distance!
  I have a broken soul,
Like a pile of broken crystals,
Scattered over the withered grass of moor?
  Sipping up your temporary love.
The passion and tenderness of lifetime,
  I ever tasted, I ever stood for;
Chirping of autumn cricket under the stair,
Sometimes makes me sad in tears.
  I bare my free heart,
Dedicate love to the stars of all over the sky,
Despite of lifetime, real or unreal,
The earth, in or out of existence?
Stars twinkle forever in the heaven!
  The Autumn Wind
  Liu Che
When autumn winds are sweeping clouds away,
Leaves fall and wild geese fly on southward way.
While orchids and chrysanthemums have their best days,
My fair maid always in my mind’s eye stays.
Our boat is floating on the river Fen,
Cutting midstream currents now and then,
With music mingled with the songs of men.
My joy is dampened by the simple truth
That senior age falls on the heels of youth.
